
Korean Kimchi Soup
It is a staple Korean soup made with Kimchi, a fermented vegetable dish. Also commonly known as kimchi jjigae. It is spicy and sour and is best served when hot. Now it’s made easy with our Asian Home Gourmet Korean Kimchi Soup Spice Paste in a convenient sachet and very easy to prepare.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack Asian Home Gourmet Korean Kimchi Soup Spice Paste
200g (7oz) white clams
100g (3 ½ oz) flower crab, cut into quarters
100g (3 ½ oz) prawns
100g (3 ½ oz) squid/ calamansi, cut into 1 ½cm (1”) thick rings
100g (3 ½ oz) Chinese cabbage, thinly sliced
550ml (2 ½cups) water
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Boil water in a saucepan on medium heat.
2.Stir in pack of Asian Home Gourmet Korean Kimchi Soup Spice Paste.
3. Cut kimchi into bite size pieces. Add seafood and cabbage(kimchi).
4. Simmer covered for 5-7 minutes or until cooked. Bring it to a boil and continue cooking. Then reduce to medium heat and boil for about 15 minutes. You can add more water if necessary.
5. Serve hot. Share and enjoy!
